What Causes Sudden Purple Spots When Opening And Closing The Eyes?

I ve had two sudden episodes where I m seeing purple spots with a yellow ro Around them it comes n goes I ve never had this before. Eyes open or closed would you have any idea what this could be? I thought I was going to pass out at first when it subsided

What i understand the spots are in your visual fields. In that case they are floaters. About their co lour you have to rule out cataract and glaucoma. Fund us examination to see health of vitreous and retina.
