What Causes Sudden Pain In The Vaginal Lip During A Sexual Engagement?

Me and my fiancé were having sex and all of a sudden I felt a lot of pain on my vagina lip to the point I was almost in tears, once I could move I looked and there was a knot the size of a golf ball on it, and it hurts to touch, walk, put my legs together and even sit up, what could this be and is it serious

The problem why you could be facing pain around vaginal area during intercourse could be due to lack of proper lubrication.
For pain, you can take analgesic medication like Ibuprofen. Sitz bath with warm water twice daily would help to overcome pain.
Abstain from sexual activities till the pain subsides completely.
Next time, ensure that there is enough lubrication before indulging in to the act. You can use water-based lubricants or moisturiser lotion to get good lubrication. It is also essential to relax and go with the act gently.
