What Causes Sudden Pain In The Lower Back?
Three days ago, I suddenly experienced severe pain in my lower (lumbar) back over my left hip. It has now progressed to my right side, including my right elbow and down my right leg, especially my right knee. I am a 59-year old woman in good health. This seems to have come out of nowhere!

Your symptoms seem to be related to sciatica pain. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen. I also suggest doing stretching exercises.
