What Causes Sudden Onset Of Nausea, Dizziness And Tinnitus?

I was at a social outing tonight, and I heard a guy talking about giving blood. It made me feel nauseous, but the nausea became ridiculously intense, and I felt as though I was going to collapse, and I started hearing a buzzing sound. I thought it might be a panic attack, so I got up (which was very difficult to do) and went to the bathroom and sat on the toilet. It passed after a few minutes. I'm concerned, particularly about the buzzing sound.

I have gone through your query . The symptoms you mention in query can occur when body come under immediate stress due to some kind of shock and panic attack . So no need to panic if it happens once , because its very normal . Drink plenty of water , take multivitamin and take proper rest .

If it occur frequently then it needs proper medical evaluation . Then you should consult ENT specialist fir proper examination and to rule out condition like meniere disease , acoustic neuroma and middle ear infection .

Doctor may order test like audiometry , Electrocochleography , Rotary chair test and CT scan to confirm the diagnosis . Treatment will depend upon the diagnosis like steroids , antiemetic drugs and antibiotics .
