What Causes Sudden Onset Of Inguinal Pain After A Physical Activity?

I am experiencing inguinal pain from excercise which began suddenly while running at the gym. The pain is the the same area as my 11-year old hernia mesh repair job. The hernia was large and dropped into my scrotum. The tear began in the perineal area. Am I better off living with the pain or is it likely that it can be repaired again?

Hello,

Commonly, a muscle injury during workout can be cause of pain, you can take rest for few days and do hot fomentation. You can also take OTC NSAIDs for faster recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
