What Causes Sudden Nausea And Belching While Having Arrythmia?

My husband just got up suddenly with: a sudden sweat, nausea and dizziness, and serious belching. He has an arrythmia and formerly had a couple of stints put in a few years ago. He is not on any meds, and is 70 1/2 years old. He does not want to go to the hospital, and claims that he feels fine now that he belched. What do you recommend?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If he had severe bloating then this can cause nausea and the associated pain can cause dizziness and sweating. In this case, he can be monitored and consider using reflux medication.

With a history of heart disease though, it would be best to be assessed. If not be the hospital staff, by his own doctor as soon as he can.

I hope this helps
