What Causes Sudden Itching And Swelling At The Wrists?
First im 19 and im a male . My wrist had a random itch I scratched it a little and it got swollen their is no puss or bumps , the itch went away and their is no burning but my wrist bone for some reason is a little bigger like its swollen please help .

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden itching and swelling at the wrists . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like injuries like hives , meningococcemia , shingles , scabies , contact dermatitis , ganglion cysts or kienbock's disease. I would suggest you to give your wrist proper rest , apply warm compresses on wrist thrice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or blood test . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , steroid injection , anti inflammatory along with phyysical therapy . Doctor may also recommend surgery in severe joint damage or refer you to dermatologist for other causes , who may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory . For now take anti histamine like zyrtec.
