Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
It is normal for the heart to beat faster with increase in physical activity.
Thus, you will experience some increase in heart rate when you climb stairs.
The increased heart activity will continue for few minutes after the vigorous physical activity and take some time to settle down.
However, if you are experiencing that the heart activity is excessive, inappropriate for physical activity or present at rest also then you need to consult a cardiologist for clinical assessment of cardiac system along with relevant investigations.
In case any abnormality is detected it can be managed appropriately.

Thanks and take care
