What Causes Sudden Increase In Blood Pressure While On Aspro?

My blood pressure has always been good.... I got set about 3 years ago and had an ablation which was only partly successful..... I now take only aspro once a day and went off other medication because of side effects. Nowadays I am generally pretty good but sometimes lose all energy.... Reasonably normal I would expect..... But suddenly my blood pressure readings are around 135 over 95. Is this an expected occurrence considering the problem I have?... It seems quite high by any standards

Hello,

Single recording of blood pressure 135 is not a big problem. If blood pressure is persistently above 130, low dose antihypertensives must be started. Reduce the intake of salt also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
