What Causes Sudden Heaviness In Chest?

Soon after taking a shower today i bent to take out the shirt from the eardrobe when the chest heaviness started and i did not have a breakfast as well. feeling really uncomfortable though there is no sweating or transfer of pain to shoulder or arm, i am having this heaviness in chest even now what should i do

Thanks for your question on HCM. I think it is muscular pain only. But we have to rule out cardiac and pulmonary cause first.
So I advice you to get done ECG to rule out cardiac cause.
Get done chest x ray to rule out any lung cause.
If both of these are normal than it must be muscular pain due to muscle pull.
Try to follow these steps.
1. Avoid heavy weight lifting and movements causing pain.
2. Take good painkillers and muscle relaxant.
3. Apply warm water on local part.
4. Wear chest belt for minimal mobilisation of affected part thus causing less pain.
