Neurologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since you had a sudden onset of headache which is associated with neck pain, I suggest you to urgently visit a neurologist as you might require an urgent CT scan to rule out a vascular accident inside your brain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi. I am having some sharp sudden headaches that go away quickly. They last a couple seconds and are usually around my right temple. Also some facial pain that lasts a few seconds. I went to the ER the first time and had a CT scan. Its not as bad as it was but still is happening. I have severely pulled my trap muscle twice in the past month and I wonder if I have a pinched nerve in my neck.
