What Causes Sudden Drop In Blood Pressure?

I had heart bypass surgery a little over 2 years ago and have been taking medications for high blood pressure for many years. For the last several days, my blood pressure has been very low, especially for someone who has always fought high blood pressure. I also have an aortic aneurysm that my doctor is planning to fix in October. What could be causing my blood pressure to fall so low all of a sudden?

Hello,

It’s very important to keep your blood pressure low as any high blood pressure could bleed your aneurysm. May be due to a higher dose ..kindly consult with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr ASIF, General & Family Physician
