General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There can be many reasons for a delay in periods. Some possible causes include stress, changes in weight or exercise habits, and certain medications. However, it is always best to consult a healthcare provider to determine the specific cause and rule out any underlying medical conditions. They can perform a physical exam, take your medical history, and possibly recommend tests to help determine the cause of your delayed period.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
