What Causes Stumbling And Malaise While On Vivitrol In A Heroine Addict?

My has started using the vivitrol pill as he was a heroin addict. He took his first pill yesterday. Later on that day he was stumbling and acting foolish he acted as if he was high. Is this normal when first taking this medication. He swears he did not use any drugs. Later on he did start to vomit.

Regarding your experience with malaise and dizziness following usage of vivitrol pills for heroine addiction I am suggesting you have developed side effects of vivitrol

Other side effects include headache vomiting confusion hallucination itching abdominal upset

In view of this please see your physician for further clinical assessment and possible re-evaluation of your medication
