What Causes Strange Red And Dry Patch On Face Despite Taking Medications?
I'm prescribed to use microbenz 3.5 aqueous gel, azifast gel & hostacyclin 500 capsule … First day I used it got better results …the second day got some reddish dry skin on my face …my skin is fair … What do I do to reduce this dry reddish bubbles????
Thanks for your query . The redness of skin can be caused by all the three drugs . But it is most commonly caused by benzoyl peroxide in microbenz gel initially , but it takes little time to get better . I would suggest you to use it in less quantity initially .
If the redness persist for longer time then you should consult dermatologist again without any delay so that she can adjust dose or alter the medicine according your condition. Avoid exceesive exposure to sun and if ever you have to go apply sunscreen rich in SPF. Don't wash face with any mouth wash containing much chemical ingredients, use medicated one only.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
