But it is most commonly caused by benzoyl peroxide in microbenz gel initially , but it takes little time to get better . I would suggest you to use it in less quantity initially . If the redness persist for longer time then you should consult dermatologist again without any delay so that she can adjust dose or alter the medicine according your condition. Avoid exceesive exposure to sun and if ever you have to go apply sunscreen rich in SPF. Don t wash face with any mouth wash containing much chemical ingredients, use medicated one only.
