Hi I have chronic restless leg syndrome, no medication I have had seems tohelp for very long, recently I have had what feels like a strained muscle at the very bottom of my buttocks and down the insight of my thigh and noe feels like it is also in my vaginal area do you know what this could be
Gyaenacological reasons may also lead to vaginal and buttock pain.
When such patient comes to my hospital we usually take x ray spine or if required MRI to see for any nerve compression. Medication like methylcobalamine and analgesic will reduce pain; you can take them consulting your treating doctor.
You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Take care.
