What Causes Stomach Pain After Eating Something?

Hello my 4 year old son has been complaining about stomach pains after he has eaten around his belly button on and off since Monday. He usually goes to bed 8.30-9.00 but the last few evenings straight after dinner he has been complaining about his tummy and falling asleep in my arms by 7.00 which is very unusual for him. I also noticed that his stools were very pale yesterday. He's not been himself really since Monday night when he was sick once-he hasn't been sick since. I'm getting rather worried and would appreciate any suggestion. thank you.

Hello,

It can be intestine infection.

Primary guidelines for better outcome are:
- Allow him more liquids
- Prefer to give soft, light diet with avoidance of oily, spicy, and non-veg
- Intake of GI antibiotics and probiotics will get faster results

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
