What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Elevated Heart Rate?

My husbands stomach feels like it has butterflies/churning. When he gets these episodes he feels the need to walk around which in turn raises his heart rate. The highest its gone up to 104. When he is busy he seems to not have them. Sometimes when he goes to bed it starts and he wont go to sleep. Help

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.h discomfort with elevated
Stomach upset followed by increased heart rate is a common symptom of indigestion with bloating...
He has to consult your family physician to exclude other possible causes & consult advised specialist like Gastroenterologist ( all digestion problems including infection/ infestation/ food allergies etc ) endocrinologist ( to exclude hyperthyroidism/ cardiologist for nay possible heart problem- specially so if he has hypertension.
In short a general physical check up & altered lifestyle ( the habits like over eating/ lack of exercise/ spicy & heavy food specially in night- are to be eliminated.) along with medicines advised by specialist doctor would help him to get rid of the problem.
