What Causes Stomach Cramps And Diarrhea?

my stomach is cramping like contracting. I threw up on Wednesday night and then couldn t poop for 2 days then took 2 laxative yesterday. I have had diarrhea all day yesterday and stinky farts as well. My stomach still just doesn t feel right. When I am sitting upright in my chair at work its uncomfortable and but if I stand up or lay back it doesn t hurt.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. Stomach cramps and diarrhea as per your query seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis which seems to be due to viral infection and electrolyte imbalance in body. I would suggest you to start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole. Drink plenty of fluids to re-hydrate. You should take banana on daily basis and light food. Avoid giving any sharp and spicy food. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination. You should take Ibuprofen along with proton pump inhibitors as well. Take anti-emetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis.
