What Causes Stomach Cramps And Diarrhea While On Ferrous Sulfate?

I am taking 65 mg of ferrous sulfate iron twice a day with meals. I have been taking it for three weeks (I am supposed to take it for two months) and recently I am experiencing stomach cramps and diarrhea. Should I take less? My reading from the blood test was 40.

basically, it's a big pill and iron irritates by being a free radical generator. You can help the pill thing but the only way to not have the stomach irritated by iron is to have it IV injected.
