What Causes Stomach Bloating Along With Abdominal Pain?
Hi. I am worried as i am constantly feeling a pain in my stomach. I have had severe pain on and off since May and then in july it got really bad, so bad i missed alot of work and feeling tired alot of the time and also very hard to get up in the morning. Then in December again on and off bloating all the time i got used to it. Then in January it got so bad i was crying with pain so I went to South Doc and they couldnt find anything ( i had been to the doctor five times before this and he said IBS could be the cause but only checked me by checking my stomach), the doctor gave me an antibiotic which she taught could be an infection but was not sure and two pain killers for the pain. And then I went to my own doctor on the Monday and he gave me buscopan it helped at the start but now since this Monday 13th Februaryi have been having these pains again and it was my time of month but has since finished and still have this pain, it was at the left and has moved to the middle. When i sit down i have to sit slowly as for some reason i feel pain in my tummy if i sit too quickly. Sorry for the message being all over the place but im very worried and I dont think ibs could affect someone so much like this. I am awiating a colonoscopy and a pelvic scan. Could you tell me what it might be as the wait is taking too long. Thank you
It might be due to IBS or gastritis secondary to acid reflux. As a first line management, you can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole for symptomatic relief.
