I am 52 and female. I go to the bathroom and have a BM pretty much once a day. But, at least once a week, I have stomach pain, and have to go to the bathroom for a BM, and usually go a couple of times. It is not liquid like diarhea. But after I go, my stomach has this lingering feeling of having to go pretty much for the rest of the day. I also feel truly exhausted afterwards too. I had an episode of eschemic colitis about 2 or 3 years ago, but nothing like that since. My most recent incident also brought on a hemroid that was beyond painful, even when trying to sleep (even though I did not strain). Just moving around in the bed hurt terribly. today is a little better, but not much.
