Hello, my six year old has all of the sudden been sick a lot in the past 6 weeks. He normally not sick at all. Six weeks ago it started with a tummy ache that got progressively worse. He would get better for a few days and then it would come back. Then he got a cold that turned into croup. He was better for 6 days and now the tummy ache and fever are back. He has missed 9 days of school and been sent home by the nurse 7 times in the past six weeks. He has been to urgent care twice. The first time for the stomach because he was so sick and lethargic. The second time when he had croup. They ran some blood tests and nothing came back. Prior to this my kid never missed school or went home. He was absent only one day all of last year for being sick. I have no idea what is causing this. I am concerned that there may be some underlining condition. Any suggestions? Thanks
