What Causes Stinging Pain On The Lower Buttocks?

I have a mysterious stinging pain with no visible signs of lumps, bumps or cuts just about 2 inches from my anus on my lower butt cheek. It is super sensitive, almost like a burn. I keep that area very clean, however do work out and occasionally sweat. Additionally, my concern is that I have had a cyst like mass in that area before that became infected in the past. I also leverage hair removal products, like nair and/or wax the area with my bikini waxes but haven t done that in a month, so it s odd the pain is happening now. I m wondering since there are no visible signs of lumps, bumps, scratches but the area is super tender to sit, walk, wear thong underwear or sweat if the hair follicle is in some way infected? It s odd there is so much stinging pain when there is visibly nothing there. Almost like a cut or a burn. Help, what can I do to make the pain go away?
