Hi, my throat is hurting like sting in my throat and sometimes my left ears too. I went to the doctor and she said it could be allergy so she told me to spray Flonase at night. I have been doing that since monday night but it did not go away. I have a thyroid nodule and do you think it is connected on how i feel now?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of pain like a sting in the throat and pain in the left ear too.
This can not be due to allergy. The cause can be a focus of infection in the throat like follicular Tonsillitis or granular Pharyngitis giving local pain in the throat and a referred pain to the left ear or infection in the left ear.
This may not be related to the thyroid nodule at all.
I would advise you to consult an ENT to get a proper clinical evaluation, examination, investigations and treatment with an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
