What Causes Stiffness In Legs After Taking Pramipexole?

I a 69 yr old male using Pramipexole 0.25MG (4/day) for RLS for approximately 18 months. I am experiencing severe stiffness each morning upon awaking and also in the evening when sitting for more than 30 minutes or so. The stiffness does subside to a point of nonissue after walking for a few minutes. Could the stiffness be a side effect?

Hello
Welcome here.
Pramipexole usually does not cause this stiffness.
You have stiffness which resolves if you walk for 30minutes. I think you should visit a rheumatologist or orthopedician. This could be a form of arthritis which needs evaluation by a specialist.

Hope this helps.
Thanks
