What Causes Stabbing Pain In Shoulders, Upper Back And Weakness In Arms?

I ve been having stabbing pain in my shoulders and upper back. There s also been super unusual weakness in my upper arms. I m feeling severely fatigued as well, I thought maybe that was Thyroid related, but my primary care physician checked all basic labs and says Thyroid is normal. I do have neck and spine problems if that helps.

hi.

noted history of stabbing pain in shoulders, upper back and weakness in arms along with history of neck and spine problems. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a neurologist or an orthopedic/spine surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. nerve impingement of different etiopathogenesis must be ruled-out. diagnostics (such as MRI, x-ray, ct-scan) and management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
