Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of stabbing pain in shoulder blade. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis, improper posture, muscle pull or tear, tendinitis or angina . Need not to worry. For now take proper rest apply warm compresses on shoulder and neck and do not exert your body. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic without any delay . Doctor may order nerve conduction test , check for the trigger points of the trapezius muscle if your CT scan and MRI are normal . Doctor may prescribe physical therapy at least for a week along with stretching exercises . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist surgeon for cardiac problem.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
