What Causes Spotting Along With Major Back Pain During Pregnancy?

Hi i am pregnant and been spotting for about 12 days now sometimes heavy. And major back pain feels like a kidney infection. I had an kidney infection before. Went to the hospital 3 they dont know what can be causing my spotting. Do you have any ideas?

little bit cramping is fine in the pregnancy because uterus has to expand but if u r experiencing sever pain with bleeding then it can b miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. u should check with gynaecologist
