What Causes Spotting After Taking Nordette Pills?

Hi doc. I need help. We had unprotected sex with my gf on June 17. Im not sure if i didnt pre-ejaculate during withdrawal that is why i told her to take nordette 4pills on june 19 then 4pills after 12hrs. Is she safe from getting pregnant? She said she had a spotting menses today june 25. Is she safe?

I understand your concern.
What Nordette dose she has taken for prevention of pregnancy seems to be alright, as it can be used as emergency contraceptive pills. Spotting and discharge can happen occasionally in between until she gets withdrawal bleeding.
She needs to get breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks of Nordette intake. In case it doesn't happen, you need to seek medical attention promptly.
