What Causes Spotting After A Hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy 9 months ago. Last Sunday I a little spotting of blood. Over the week this has increased. Nothing happens when I'm lying down. The trouble is I don't know exactly where it is coming from and I don't have any pain. Could it be haemorrhoids and should I go directly to the Emergency Dept at a hospital if the Dr surgery is not open today?

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum

In short: It is not from your uterus if you have undergone hysterectomy

Explanation: As you think , it may be due to haemorroids/ any other lesion in vagina(may be due to dryness of vagina). So, please visit your doctor for physical examination.
