What Causes Spots On Throat?

dear sir,

i have some spots in my throat. earlier this is one but now these are three. these size is increasing day by day and its from about 2 months. i consulted a doctor but wasted. i want to now what is the disuses and what will be the procedure of treatment.

Hello

The white spots are generally due to infected food particles stuck in the "pits" on your tonsils and generally are asymptomatic, however they can cause recurrent throat discomfort and infections and i would like you to meet your doctor for discussing this. There is no special precaution for this , however you can reduce the frequency and size of the spots by gargling with warm salt water 2-3 times a day for atleast 4 weeks.
