Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a srange splotchy patch inbetween my breast for atleast 6 years. I use to think its because I was dirty but its not because I scrub inbetween with a lufa and hard. Since about 5th grade i have had larger boobs, could this be the cause? It doesnt itch, burn or anything its just there. I even got to the point to use a foot stone, I have been so embaressed of this.
As it’s not itchy or painful, we can rule out any infection and also any tumor. I would suggest the following: 1) Kindly do not scrub or use any foot stone on that patch 2) Observe for any increase in size of the patch over a period of time 3) Observe for any color change or puckering of skin over the patch.
Taking a dermatologist opinion would be great as examination in person is necessary to evaluate the patch and it’s dimensions and causes. Please do not irritate the patch either physically or chemically. After examination, if it’s benign, it can be removed surgically with the help of a plastic surgeon.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist .
