What Causes Spinning Head, Lights Flashing, Side Stiff Neck?

I had spinning head, lights flashing one night when I lay on my right side. When I woke in morning I had right side stiff neck and pressure on one side of head like sinus. Next night dizzy when I lied down woke up soaking wet. Dizziness only when I lie down. Pressure only on one side all the time. Had rectocele repair one week ago could it be connected?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You are suffering from vertebrobasilar insufficiency - i.e. reduced blood flow in the brain due to certain bad postures. I suggest you get X rays of the neck as the first step and doing neck strengthening exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
