Hello, Soreness on foreskin is due to wearing uncomfortable pants or underwear. Activities like manual labor or riding a bike for a long time, etc., may cause inflammation due to some abrasion / injury. Cut on the penis, shaft or foreskin can be due to vigorous sex, too much masturbation, poor hygiene, etc. If sexually active with multiple partners; take STD tests to stay on the safer side. If tests are positive, you will need to be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. To prevent infection and inflammation maintain good genital hygiene. Do not use strong chemicals or soap. You can apply Neosporin or Soframycin ointment for relief. Avoid sex for a couple of days. Neglect may result in the spread of the infection causing inflammation, soreness, pain and proliferate bacterial infection called balanoposthitis.
