What Causes Soreness On The Face And Cheeks?

I woke up this morning aware of a very sore area on my face, cheek area. It felt like a minor burn, but looking in the mirror there is no redness or any other changes in my skin. Throughout the day I have been aware of the soreness and this evening while washing my face it was very uncomfortable. Again there are no visible signs of color change, swelling, etc. Just really puzzled.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Such soreness without visits cha yes on the skin could be due to exposure to extreme heat or cold/exposure to the chemical fumes or a touch of irritant like chilly (green or red, black pepper powder).

Apply ice cold water/ lactoca by hi
laminectomy lotion.
*Possibility of cervical spondylosis needs to be excluded... if there is no relief with local treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
