What Causes Soreness In The Throat?

I have had a tickle in the back of my throat for several weeks, not a sore throat - feels more like I have a hair stuck in the back of my mouth - just irritating. My sister seems to think this could indicate a thyroid issue. Should I be overly concerned by this

usually thyroid doesnt lead to such complaints. it can be manifestation of allergic aetiology.
try anti allergics with montelukast for 15 days along with disprin gargles.
you will definitely feel better
