Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This last several months, my nipples get sore a lot . I have some fairly sized manbreasts, all my life really even when I was 25 at 150 pounds. But I have always had a large chest and neck. It s not painful but does bother me. A paternal first cousin had one nipple removed when he was a boy, would that be a cause of concern to me? I hope it s just from my shirt ( I only wear cotton knit shirts ) rubbing them. Maybe this happens more to woman, I don t know.
By what you say it could be a contact dermatitis of atopic dermatitis or eczema.
As of now, you can use OTC topical emollients or OTC Hydrocortisone cream. If not better please consult a dermatologist. Please do remember that skin conditions are best diagnosed and treated after seeing them directly and hence I recommend posting an image here and getting back, please.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
