Hi, I ate too much sausage yesterday around 5pm pacific. I rarely eat sausage or greasy meat but had a large sausage and egg and cheese omelet. Last night I notice being gassy and a soreness in my right adomen...between belly button and bottom of ribcage on right - not under rib cage. Tender to touch, dull achy, not sharp pain. better when standing. Note that I took care of my two grandson (4 and 2) on Wednesday and wonder if it could be a pulled muscle in my tummy or something - we were playing pretty hard. It feels a bit like a strain but not sure.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read the history and understood the problems.
Too many sausages, which you knew can cause problems has caused you gasses and soreness in the abdomen.
The abdomen is tender to touch, dull achy and better on standing. This indicates wither an infection of the intestines by bad sausage or intolerance of the intestines to sausages.
Get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, activated charcoal tablets, probiotic and see for the results. If there is a relief , nothing further needs to be done. If no relief you may need and upper GI Endoscopy, colonoscopy and further treatment as per the blood, urine and stool reports.
Never take Sausages again. Take care.
