What Causes Soreness In Neck And Shaking In A Diabetic?

Husband, type 2 diabetic, is shaking and says he is cold. He is type 2 diabetic and just came from a dessert fundraiser where he had 4 sample servings of some very sweet desserts. He says the back of his neck is very sore. Came on very suddenly - about 45-60 minutes ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to hyperglycemia.

I suggest to check the glycemic blood level.

If the glycemic level is high, I suggest to go at the emergency room for the specific treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
