What Causes Sore Upper Arm Muscles Along With Neck Stiffness?
WHY AFTER AN NIGHT SLEEP MY UPPER ARMS MUSCLES ARE VERY SORE AND HARD TO LIFT MY ARMS AND IS GETTING WORST AFTER EACH NIGHT SLEEP TO TRY TO TURN OVER TO MY SIDE WHEN SLEEPING TAKES AN EFFECT TO OVER COME THE PAIN IN THE MUSCLE ALSO HAVE AN VERY TIGHT LEFT SIDE NECK MUSCLE. I CAN DO THINGS WITH MY HANDS SO NO RESTRICTION THERE BUT TO LIFT MY ARMS YES HURST EVEN WHEN WALKING THE UPPER FRONT OF THE ARMS ARE HURTING

HI Thanks for the query. understand your concern. Sore upper arm muscles with stiffness of neck can be- r - Uncomfortable sleeping posture leading to sprain, - Cervical spondylosis/ disc problems. Treatment is rest to the part/ fomentation/ light massage with muscle relaxants/ oral anti inflammatory drugs & muscle relaxants.,If there is no improvement in a weeks time.. go to spinal doctor , get examined, investigated ( X ray, MRI, CT scan ) & get medical or surgical treatment as per severity of the cause. Thanks.
