What Causes Sore Throat When Suffering From Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease?

my 13 month old has Hand foot mouth going on 4 days now. This morning out of no where I started to feel ill sore throat feels like glands are swollen behind ear , body aches and pains, and chills but no fever or visible rash is it possible that I have the hand foot mouth without the 2 major sympthoms

I understand your concern.
Sore throat is one of the associated symptom occurring in hand, foot and mouth disease. It is caused due to inflammation of mucosa of pharynx.
Kindly take the medications as prescribed for the disorder.
Along with that, kindly do the following to overcome sore throat.
1. Salt water gargling with warm water thrice daily.
2. Use of decongestant and antiinflammatory medications.
3. Use of throat soothening agents like medicated lozanges.
Gradually, child should recover from these symptoms and be back to normal.
