What Causes Sore Throat For The Last Three Weeks?

Hi , This is the third week that I ve hard a very sore throat. Like its on fire. My past sore throats usually last one or two days. They are infrequent. It even hurts when I move . I haven t been around any one infectious as far as I know. I do not drink other than an occasional half glass of wine.

Hi.
The commonest causes of persistent sore throat for three weeks are:
There may be a root cause in the sinuses, bad teeth, bad oral hygiene or a septic focus in the lungs.
Another cause can be LARD- Layngo-pharyngeal reflux disease.
The cause has to be found out by appropriate clinical evaluation, examination and investigations as advised.
Till then take a proper antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and symptomatic and symptomatic treatment as advised by your Doctor.

Take bed rest.
Avoid oily spicy food.
PPI and Domperidone.
Antacid

This may give you cure.
