What Causes Sore Throat And Heaviness In Chest?

I inhaled a lot of dust from sanding down joint compound on drywall, in a small room with not much ventilation while working yesterday. Did not were a mask, big mistake, and today I woke up with a score throat and heavy chest. Well it get better over time, or do i need to see someone? I had some couching and i spit up a little color was clear. I finished the Job, and I know next time I ll differently were a mask

Thanks for posting on HCM
That is a reaction to the dust you inhaled.Since your symptoms are not too severe and improving with time, I will advise the following:
-Avoid further exposure to environmental irritants like dust, smoke, cold
-Take regular sips of water and if need be, warm water
-Continue to spit out if any mucous.
-If symptoms serious, you take an antihistamine like benadryl
You may not need to see the Doctor.
