Since Sunday last, the left side of my butt cheek is sore and swollen, just in one area. The area is just before the cheek ends on the right side, just inside the lowest side of my buttock. It is rather painful to sit in the toilet or on a chair. I had a mild fever too, but it is no more. I have taken a tablet called Mexa-VitC (Paraetamol+Vitamin C). Today I feel a little better; the pain is reduced.
Somebody told me that it was caused by food infection as I happened to eat last week two pieces of out-dated chicken ham. Is it true? Should I take some antibiotics? Kindly give your valuable advice in this regard.
