What Causes Sore Swelling Under Right Arm?

i have a swelling under my right arm it s about 3.5 inches long and 1-1.5 inches wide. Its swollen like fluid, puffy. I weight train and swim every day. It s sore but doesn t seem to be lymph glands. I had mono and know what that pain in the lymph nodes feels like. it s quite puffy. any ideas?

Hello,

You have a swelling under your right arm and it is sore. The cause of such a symptom depends on the site and cause, it commonly occurs due to tendonitis, repetitive strain injury, muscle strain, etc. It may also be indicative of serious health issues like tumors, trauma, infection or inflammation, cysts, etc.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get routine tests and investigations done. You will be treated accordingly. You can take acetaminophen or naproxen, one sos for relieve of pain. You can get a gentle massage done with pain relieving ointment to ease discomfort. Do not strain unnecessarily, take rest.
