What Causes Sore, Red And Tender Part On The Top Of The Foot?

good day......am a healthy 51 year old male who woke up with the top of my right foot very sore....go for a good walk everyday or pedal around depending on weather....there is a little redness and still tender to the touch....tried stretching my foot with rotation and that is painful...any help?p

Hi,

Sudden onset of soreness, swelling in food may be caused by Gout. This needs confirmation by assessment and testing for uric acid level.

So at the moment, you can use some painkiller like Ibuprofen for a few days. But it should be assessed by your doctor to rule out gout.
