Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic,

I am Dr.Naveed Ullah khan,

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.

That could be an infection. It gonna be very important to start antibiotics. If he was my patient I would do a blood workup and do a rapid strep test as that is common in this age group. And it could lead to rheumatic heart diseases. Ear infection could be due to the throat infection spreading there.

I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.

Wish you the best of health.

Regards.

Dr.Naveed Ullah Khan.
