What Causes Soft Brown Stools With Bad Gas?

i have been having very soft light brown stool for a week now, and i also have very bad gas which are causing me to cramp badly. I have been having very bad head aches and can sleep threw the whole nigt due to the frequet bathroom runs. what is going on ?
