What Causes Small Painful Lump On Left Leg?

I have a small lump on the side of my left leg to the right of my knee. I ve had it for a while it s not gotten much bigger but the pain is extremely significant. It s a shooting burning pain that not much seems to relieve. Is there a home remedy to alleviate this?

Hi,

Do you have any history of trauma?

A painful lump there may suggest inflammation following some trauma, or a localised soft tissue infection, although it's difficult to ascertain the cause with the given details alone. If there is no redness or warmth over the swelling, try taking anti-inflammatory tablets like ibuprofen 3 times a day)after food) for 3-5 days. If it is not getting down by then, kindly see your doctor for evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
